OK-MRC will complete a Background Check, you will complete basic online training courses (free) through their website, and you will then be eligible to receive an MRC Badge (made at the Payne County Health Department) and a T-shirt.
While waiting on your MRC credentials you should fill out the 2023 Volunteer Profile for PCART and you will be added to the email list to be notified of membership meetings. Please feel free to attend PCART meetings while you are doing your OKMRC training and waiting for your OKMRC credentials. Monthly meetings have been on hold throughout the COVID-10 Pandemic but we hope to resume them soon.
Note that you will not be eligible to deploy with the team until you are credentialed through OKMRC. This requirement does not apply to professional first responders as long as ICS courses have been completed.
