The list below includes items suggested for your GoBag for both disaster deployments and training. Always be prepared to take care of your own personal needs.

- MRC badge
- ID and medical insurance information
- List of allergies
- List of medical conditions/alerts/medications
- Emergency numbers
- Cell phone (picture of IDs etc on phone a good idea)
- Phone charger
- PCART T-shirt
- MRC T-shirt
- Change/money/cash
- Full tank of gas
- Weather report
Critical:
- Water (1 gallon/day/person)
- Food (3 day supply if going to incident, snacks for short day)
- Power Bars or other snacks
- Change of clothing
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Gloves (suggest welding gloves or leather gloves)
- Boots
- Hat
- Helmet or Hardhat
- Sunglasses and/or safety glasses if available
Clothing:
- Boots (or at least closed toed shoes)
- Change of shoes (nothing like walking around in wet shoes and socks all day J)
- Gloves (welding gloves or leather gloves suggested)
- Hat
- Sunglasses/goggles
- Jacket
- Rain gear
- Extra clothing: (T-shirt, socks, long pants)
- Plastic bags for wet items
Personal Care Items
- Hand sanitizer
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Chapstick
- Toilet paper
- Toiletries and personal care items (will depend on deployment)
- Tooth paste and toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Medications (3 day supply)
- Soap
- Baby wipes
- Contact lenses or glasses if needed
- Shampoo/dry shampoo/soap
- Tylenol/Acetominophen
- Safety pins
- Small mirror
- Bandaids/antibiotic ointment/first aid kit
Equipment and supplies
- Notebook
- Pen/pencil
- Sharpie
- Knife
- Other tools (Multitool like Leatherman)
- Flashlight
- Extra batteries
- Matches and lighter (waterproof container)
- Utility knife
- Duct tape
- Safety helmet (if you have one)
- Dust masks and latex gloves (if you have them)
- Consider bringing one or more leashes/halters of your own.
- Safety glasses (if you have them)
- Emergency blanket/space blanket
- Rain gear/poncho
- Hand warmers (in cold weather)
- Whistle
- Sleeping bag
- Ziploc bags
- Trash bags – yard size & kitchen size
