NOTE: 
  • Please be certain to click the SUBMIT button.
  • Please be certain to check boxes acknowledging need to sign liability waiver on arrival & need to have ID, etc.
  • Live dogs and horses (a few of each) will participate in some Exercise activities.  We have room for a few of each and requirements are stringent. If you are willing to bring a dog or horse to the Exercise please answer the questions in the last section.  Only animals accepted for participation will be allowed on site.

Also, please remember to sign up for this course on the OK-MRC site. You will see the OKMRC course link on the confirmation page after you register below. This is a very quick process (one click once you are signed in) but will allow us to verify your MRC status and also allow you to receive credit for attending this training.

    OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    We will be recruiting a few dogs and a few horses for this Exercise.
    • Activities involving dogs will take place at FST-West and Lake Carl Blackwell.
    • Activities involving horses will only take place a Lake Carl Blackwell. 
    • Animals must be well trained and used to people, and approved only after an OSU veterinarian has spoken with the owner.
    • There will be an experienced caretaker to stay with any horses at Lake Carl Blackwell during the day. 
    • If you believe that you have a dog or a horse that would be appropriate for this Exercise, including kenneling of dogs, triage by veterinarians and vet techs of both dogs and horses, and possible decontamination activities, please fill out the following and provide contact information.
    • Acceptance to Exercise is not automatic. Only a few animals are needed, and you and your veterinarian will be contacted by OSU veterinary staff before a determination is made.

Please note that once you successfully submit your registration you will see a confirmation page that directs you to also register at the MRC Website.  If you do not register through MRC your training will not register on your MRC profile and you will not receive the activation notice on Thursday March 1.
