Responders and the Animals they Rescue

Thank you to Susan Walker and Fire Protection Publications at
Oklahoma State University

These photos were collected by Fire Protection Publications' Librarian, Susan Walker, over the years. Together they demonstrate how often first responders are called on to care for animals found at fires and other incidents.

Thank you to first responders who do the best they can for these animals, and for their cooperation with animal response teams who can assist them and take over when the animals need care.

Oklahoma State University Fire Protection Publications donated paper and printer ink to create a binder for displaying these photos.
